CTL Weekly 07.12
Happy Friday from the lake where I’ve been since (checks calendar) July 2. Tom and I came down for five days around the 4th, and we were coming back down this weekend, so I decided to stay the four days in between while Tom went home to work.
I wasn’t sure if I’d feel like staying this long—it was something of an experiment—but even though I’m ready to go home (I miss Madeline!), it’s been a nice few days.
Also, a big thank you for the comments on Wednesday’s post telling me where you are from. I have loved reading them and I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing where in the world your fellow readers are. If you haven’t had a chance to check out the comments on that post or comment yourself, you can still do that here.
Here’s what I saved to share with you this week.
The trailer for The Perfect Couple based on Elin Hilderbrand’s novel looks so good! The cast, the house, the location. I can’t wait. Coming to Netflix in September and it looks like the book cover is already being updated.

Yes. I have eaten at the oldest restaurant in Ohio many times.
It is The Golden Lamb in Lebanon, Ohio just outside of Cincinnati.
It is owned by former Senator Rob Portman and his family.

I’ve eaten at Cattleman’s since I live next to OKC but it was not my cup of tea. One and done for me I’ve had better steaks. I know some people love it.
That was a neat list and I’m going to hit the one in KS next time I drive to KC. Also it’s on the Flint Hills Scenic Byway. Love the Flint Hills.
I’ve been to and walked in the Cotswolds. It’s so wonderful and plan to go back hopefully next year… great post!
