CTL Weekly 08.16

A few weeks ago I shared this list of peach recipes from Sur La Table. Since then, I made the Peach Pecan Crisp from the list for a family dinner and, before peach season ends, I wanted to let you know that it was delicious…and easy! After dinner, I put the warm-from-the-oven skillet right in the middle of the table with a carton of vanilla ice cream and everyone dished up their own servings. It was so fast and casual that I didn’t even get a picture, hence this picture from the recipe. There’s also a video version of the recipe which I found helpful.

On my radar: the new British Netflix series A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder about a teen who takes on solving a local murder as a school project. Based on the book by Holly Jackson, it has six, 45-minute episodes, which sounds perfect for a late summer watch.
